Reader Review: The Snowflake by Jamie Carie
This story of struggle can reach the hearts that yearn for a different life. Those who feel trapped, alone and forgotten can see hope anew and gain courage from this tale.
Book Review: Wind River by Tom Morrisey
Although Wind River is not Tom Morrisey's first novel, this is the first one I've read. It will not be the last. As a wilderness adventure, I was drawn to Wind River, but what captured me was the realistic way in which the main characters demonstrate the harsh reality of what it means to be a follower of Christ. Real Christians were found on the pages of this book. I gave it 4 stars.

Fantasy books
2007-11-14 12:00:09 by presshereI am not a writer or anything, I just want to ask if any of you have suggestions on fantasy adventure books. I am mostly insterested at those pirates, or robin hood, or space shuttle... something regarding a fantasy futuristic home/car/station all in one mobile form of structures or transportation. I don't know how to describe it, but if you know the following Japanese animation, you will have an idea what I meant...
- Nadia (The Secret Blue Water)
- Howl's Moving Castle
Thanks a lot and have a nice day.
LOOKING FOR BOOK READERS - ANCIENT EGYPT FANTASY
2012-02-05 18:28:40 by questionneedanswerHello
I am on the second draft of my book. It is a story set in ancient Egypt 2185 BC. It's a fantasy, comedy, adventure.
I need help from someone who enjoys reading and especially, the genre I am working on. I need your notes on the story, the writing style, the flow.
Please send a message if you interested. Mention what books about Egypt or fantasy, you have read in the past and what you liked about it. How fast do you read? If you are not interested, please do not send me nasty message.
Thank you very much
Josephine

Book recommendation
2008-12-19 06:26:12 by JimLaughterDepending on the interests of the reader you wish to give a book to, I would recommend my own book, Escape to Destiny, a young adult sci/fi fantasy adventure released in April 2008.
Escape to Destiny is the first book in a series that my writing partner and I are putting out. The next volume, The Horicon Experience, will be out in late summer, but I don't have a release date yet. Publishers can be a little slow...
Our books make up the Galactic Axia series. We have created a commonwealth of planets throughout the Milky Way galaxy, and beyond in some cases
Next chapter for the book world? Video games!

----------
Ernest Hemingway would probably never have written a video game. Neither would have William Faulkner. But as the literary world faces more and more challenges, it's starting to embrace new forms of communication.
Several established authors and now one of the industry's largest publishers are working hand-in-hand with video game companies to boost the storytelling qualities of upcoming first-person shooters, role-playing games and other genres
