Short Definition of the Adventure and Thriller Genres

"The pure adventure, a story involving a hero (or heroine) taking risks and overcoming dangers to complete a journey or task, is a form on its own - and in fact, it is probably the oldest recorded genre in existence. The Epic of Gilgamesh, first chronicled on clay tablets in the third millennium B.C., tells of the adventures of Gilgamesh, the king of Uric, a super hero, two-thirds divine and one-third human, and his quest for immortality."

Who got removed along with the spam.
I am reading my second one now, "Evening Classes" and I am favorably impressed so far. In fact I'm pretty much amazed at the number of characters she is able to manage and how rounded and full they each are. True, the books are not exactly action filled adventure thrillers, but they do keep me interested. I'll probably read another one.

But wait there's more!
